Investigators highlighted some mileage claims she made for meetings linked to a private company, called Mindful Healthcare Ltd, ‘that may not have been directly related to trust business’.
In a separate matter, Ms Mabey was accused of a conflict of interest for signing off her son’s £550 expense mileage claims.
The Trust was also accused of ‘a lack of probity in spending public funds’ – with concerns raised over some of the £1.2m of contracts awarded to private firms.
