Members of the Bisham Parents Action Group believe the Royal Borough is on a ‘campaign’ to force the school to become an academy and remove headteacher Jim Cooke, who has taught at the Church Lane school for 29 years.
Parents have written letters to Maidenhead MP Theresa May and launched a petition calling on the council to protect the future of the school and allow the parents to have a say on what happens in the future, which they say has been signed by more than 540 people.
