Anti-academy candidate beats UKIP to council seat

An anti-academy candidate last week achieved a 32.5% swing to beat UKIP to a county council seat in Lincolnshire.

In a result largely unreported by the media, Labour candidate Sara Dodds was elected as councillor for North Louth, beating the UKIP candidate into third place.
