Roke School parents, children and members of the SAVE ROKE campaign will be lobbying the Harris Academy at 4.30pm on Tuesday 19th March
Parents will be available for interviews and photo opportunities

DfE moved to turn previously ‘outstanding’ Roke School into an Academy after JUST ONE poor inspection and no revisit to monitor schools attempts to address problems.
The decision on Roke was taken just 6 weeks of term time after they were told to improve and did so.
Governors told by DfE that they will be sacked if they object to plans and choice of sponsor. They were told not to tell parents!
DfE choose Harris Federation as Academy sponsor with zero consultation and despite opposition from school and parents.
Lord Harris is a major donor of over £2million to the Conservative party. They gave him our school. It is not even failing. Sat results are above average (80%)!
There is currently a fake consultation underway, run by Harris with no alternatives offered.
Parents are currently mounting legal challenge against the DfE over lack of consultation, and the fact the school is not failing.
